How Becoming Massage Makes Oxygenation a Tangible Sensation.
In a well-oxygenated body, you are in a state of physical & emotional well-being.
In a low or non-oxygenated body, virus, imbalance, disease, and a prevailing sense of limitation inundate your experience.
Continuing again from the concept that your body is either expanding or contracting: In a well-oxygenated internal physical environment, your cells are perpetuating the vibrations (neurological frequencies) of expansion. However, when your body is experiencing contractive sensations that are brilliantly capturing your attention, oxygenation suffers… and so do you.
Why is oxygenation an essential component to the functioning of your body?
Simple, oxygenation is the process that circulates your fresh blood and nutrition throughout your body. When oxygenation is low, the neurological membrane known as connective tissue (fascia) loses its lubrication (blood) and separate muscles, fibers, bones, organs, and even cells begin sticking together, further exaggerating the contractive process. Can you see a little more clearly why contraction can feel like such a seductive process for your attention? It’s very tangible, isn’t it?
Remember though, your attention is what makes sensation tangible. It isn’t the other way around. Although when you’re living in a reactive state, it can certainly feel like sensation is happening to you, rather than you’re creating it, doesn’t it?
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again here: The more your body does something, the more it’s going to do it. In this case, the more your body is creating a non-oxygenated environment, the more exhausted you’re going to feel, and the less your body will have the ability to assimilate nutrition.
Why does your body lose the ability to assimilate nutrition?
Well, as your body contracts and individual properties stick together, they harden and close off to fresh blood and nutrition. Thus, you could put thousands of dollars of organic food, supplements, and juices into your body, but your cells will struggle to utilize the nutrition. Equally, the hardened tissue surrounding stuck together muscle fibers won’t get lubricated because the blood and nutrition can’t reach inside the adhesions.
Additionally, when you’re eating a heavier diet, the body doesn’t have the energy to secrete enzymes, and all that undigested food builds up in the tissues and your organs, most specifically in your liver, intestinal tract, and colon. Your body builds toxicity up in layers (unevenly) throughout the body. This accumulated toxicity further diminishes oxygenation, increasing the speed that your body contracts, and ultimately, you feel like shit (literally). The accumulation of toxicity also aids in the rigidity of your structural integrity, making getting up out of bed feel like a major feat.
So how do you reverse the polarity back to expansion and open your body back up to receive the nutrition you're consuming?
Okay, well, while raw food, for instance, may not completely assimilate because of stuck together tissues, cells, etc., the parts of your body where it does get utilized gives you a brief influx of oxygenation. This can feel like a double edged sword, because anything that oxygenates a contractive internal environment also initiates the body’s detox mechanism.
The toxicity that is built up in your tissues dumps into your blood stream. If you’re not aware of this process, you may actually think that something bad is happening as a result of the nutrition you consumed. This misconception actually convinces a lot of people to believe that eating healthier isn’t necessarily better. Interesting, huh? Even more interesting is, when you eat more toxic foods, it doesn’t create extreme polarity of sensations, so you might actually convince yourself that your body is fine with that pizza and ice cream.
Unfortunately, if you’re not flushing the toxicity that dumps into your blood, it just re-embeds in the same or a different place. Either way, it’s still seducing your attention, Becoming more and more tangible. Emotionally speaking, it’s easier to tell yourself that Becoming healthier takes too much energy, so you allow yourself to keep following the path that created the contractive processes in the first place.
So obviously, you must be incredibly present with the sensations your body is experiencing in order to really feel the difference between brief bouts of oxygenation and true expansion.
What’s the difference?
Truly expansive sensations create a big impact in your psyche and emotional process; because you begin to remember what it feels like to experience well-being.
Brief bouts of oxygenation will most likely feel like a subtle reprieve from feeling like complete crap. Just as likely though, the brief influxes of oxygenation can create the illusion of feeling worse because of the toxicity that dumps from your tissues into your blood stream. If you don’t flush that toxicity out of your body, you’re left feeling more tired than ever.
So what does oxygenation have to do with Becoming Massage®?
The hybrid style of massage and bodywork I perform helps break up the actual adhesions, stuck muscle fibers and fascia, and dump toxicity stored in your tissues back into the blood. More importantly, your body will experience intense sensations of oxygenation. There isn’t anything subtle about it when someone like me facilitates moving blood and nutrition manually. This gives you the opportunity to connect with expansive sensations and make them tangible with your attention. I will then assist you in remembering those feelings with other tools that help you integrate the sensations of expansion more acutely.
Those tools include:
- Breath (Every inhale reminds you to connect more deeply with the sensation or sensations of expansion, and every exhale dissolves or clears away anything not in resonance with where you are choosing your attention to focus.)
- Rebounding (Jumping on a mini-trampoline.)
- Sea Vegetation Chlorophyll (chemical composition of chlorophyll and hemoglobin are remarkably similar, making it easy for your body to assimilate it. Oxygenation occurs through the assimilation of nutrition.)
- Yoga (You can recreate the expansive sensations I help facilitate with just a few key poses.)
